Madisen Maher Architects (MMA) completed Pabst Brewing Company’s satellite office on the third floor of the Pabst Professional Center at 1036 W. Juneau Avenue in Milwaukee. Pabst Brewing Company was founded in Milwaukee in 1844, and their new office is a great nesting spot for team members to call home while conducting business in the city.
The environment showcases the heritage of the Pabst complex, using re-purposed materials, metal and glass components. The open office concept promotes collaboration while private spaces are used for transitory staff. The office island features the Pabst portfolio of frothy beverages, allowing team members to sample product in a casual setting. Recycled wood sliding doors symbolize the wooden barrels that were used for transporting beer in the early days. Exposed steel, wire glass, bronze pendant lights and wire mesh artwork further support Pabst’s heritage.
