Madisen Maher Architects collaborated with International Autos Group in re-purposing an existing vacant dealership into a state-of-the-art collision center to service the extensive line of vehicles within the metro Milwaukee area.
The existing site solved several key needs. Location: It is conveniently located down the street from the West Allis dealership which is home to the corporate office. Parking: With the extensive line of vehicles, overflow parking was greatly needed to store new and pre-owned inventory. Aesthetics: Windows were added to the north elevation to allow natural light to spill into the service drive. Glass entries were added into the parts department pick up, customer lounge, service advisor offices and repair shop to greet customers as they drop off or pick up their vehicles.
