The Owner acquired Ultimate Sun, a tanning and skin care retail tenant. Remodeling the storefront was a condition of the lease and MMA was tasked with designing a new wood storefront that would fit in contextually with the existing building and be eligible for a City of Milwaukee façade grant. MMA looked to 1920’s-era storefront designs as a precedent and developed a style that worked well with the existing building while successfully receiving the City façade grant.
