Madisen Maher Architects (MMA) congratulates Sendik’s Food Market on completion of their Germantown store remodel. The goal of the remodel was to improve the customer experience while making the preparation space more efficient for employees. The front of the store was opened up for a more welcoming experience. The dairy, cheese, bakery and deli departments were expanded, offering more prepared foods for customers, and the produce department was updated.
Food preparation space is now shared by the bakery and deli departments, improving efficiency and resulting in additional shopping space for customers. Graphic signage makes it easier for customers to find grocery items, simplifying the shopping experience. All of the finishes in the 50,000 square-foot store were updated.
