Madisen Maher Architects commissioned to design River Place Lofts

Madisen Maher Architects was commissioned to design River Place Lofts.  The 19th century warehouse space, formerly Pfister Vogel Tannery, was transformed into distinctive living environments ranging in size from 750 sq. ft. to 1570 sq. ft.  Features include exposed columns and beams, cream city brick and arched-top windows, all part of the original fabric of the building.  The building is sited to provide dynamic views of the 6th Street Viaduct, the Harley Museum, The Iron Horse Hotel, Burnham Canal and downtown Milwaukee.

River Place Lofts site features four buildings built between 1871 and 1874.  Located at 600 Freshwater Way, Milwaukee, WI  53204, The Beam House contains 64 apartments.  One- and two-bedroom apartments and one- and two-baths are offered in this 19th century industrial building.
