MMA receives a Cream of the Cream City Award for the Historic Beam House

Madisen Maher Architects is proud to announce its Cream of the Cream City Award from The Milwaukee Historic Preservation Commission for The Historic Beam House at River Place Lofts.  “The 19th century industrial space, formerly part of the Pfister Vogel Tannery, was transformed into 64 distinctive living environments, each designed to take advantage of building aesthetics and city views,” states Erik Madisen, Principal.  “Located at 625 W. Freshwater Way in Walker’s Point, the apartments range in size from 750 to 1570 sq. ft.,” he adds.

MMA announces Top Projects Award for Sendik’s Food Market – Corporate Office


Madisen Maher Architects is proud to announce its Top Projects Award from The Daily Reporter for Sendik’s Food Market – Corporate Office.  “The facility is an adaptive reuse of an existing early 90’s industrial building,” states Ryan Thomas, Project Manager.  “We removed the precast walls and a vestibule and replaced them with an executive board room addition and a glass curtainwall façade,” he adds.  The 30,000 square foot facility is located at 7284 W. Marcia Rd. in Milwaukee.

MMA client Sendik’s Food Market opens in West Milwaukee


Madisen Maher Architects congratulates client Sendik’s Food Market on its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 15.
Located at 1740 Miller Park Way, the store comprises 42,000 square feet of space and will employ 140 people.
The new West Milwaukee store is one of six stores Sendik’s will open in the next 12 to 15 months.
